Red Knights Director, Region 1 Candidate Biography

My name is Don Moore.

I am Vermont Chapter 3’s five-term President, a position I have held since 2006. Chapter 3 has over 60 members, having grown rapidly since the granting of its charter in 2004. I am past Quartermaster of Chapter 3. My wife, Lexi McAdams Moore, is a Social Member of VT-3, while my son, Brayden, is a Junior member.

I am retired from the Rutland City Fire Department after a 30-year career that included being an EMT for 15 years and a Red Cross CPR instructor for two years. I followed in the footsteps of my father and uncle in the fire service. Additionally, I am past three-term President of IAFF Local 2323 and participated in negotiating five union contracts.

I am extremely proud of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club and what it stands for. I enjoy the brotherhood of firefighters and the camaraderie of biking firefighters. I seek to serve the members of Region 1.
